It already has been posted more than a gazillion times. Almost every blog-owner asks this question at least once in a while. Even we have pondered this fundamental question more than once:

Now, it seems that the ultimate answer has been found:
A: ........why is Caruso allowed to keep acting? To show aspiring actors how TO NOT ACT unless they want to end up as a joke…
THAT'S IT!
David Caruso is used as a cautionary tale ....something like "You better get your act together or you'll end like David Caruso!"
Another option would be that Caruso gave good head to one of the producers....C'mon people there has got to be ONE THING Caruso is good at!!!!
