The following is a great review of the CSI Miami Season 6 DVD Box which is available since September 09, 2008:There’s just nobody on this planet that can approach the genius level work that David Caruso does when he’s presented with a juicy cop show script. Honestly, the guy must have the greatest dentist in the world, because this level of almost godlike scenery chewing doesn’t occur in nature. It’s as though Caruso has been genetically manipulated, or carefully bred to enhance his over-the-top gene.
Ever since his character, Horatio “Hornblower” Caine, whipped off his Ray-Bans at the sight of an oncoming tidal wave and declaimed “that’s not the horizon!”, we’ve had a little bit of a man crush on Caruso. We’re still hoping to see him on the big screen teamed up with Burt Reynolds, Jesse Ventura and Jason Statham in some sort of space hostage rescue adventure, but until then, we’re happy to curl up with our CSI: Miami season six DVD box set and relive the glory days.
And they are glorious, if you’re into this sort of thing. You know, forensics, police procedurals, all that stuff. Season six of CSI: Miami delivers both weekly murder cases as well as a newfound love of ongoing subplots and character development, which for we, the viewers, essentially adds up to a lot of face time for Elizabeth Berkley of Showgirls infamy. In other words, even more awesome.......
