CSI is far superior to CSI Miami. The reason? Characters. The characters on the original show are real people (more or less), idiosyncratic and identifiable. The characters on the spinoff are ciphers. No personality. Nothing that distinguishes one from the other. CSI Miami been a pure cheesefest for probably the past 2 seasons, with David Caruso slow rotating further and further around until he practically talks to people with his back turned to them now. Oh, and let’s not forget the 5 minute pauses between lines.
William Peterson is better than David Caruso any day. Caruso fell flat on his face after he left NYPD Blue to launch his movie career. Caruso needs to grow up and get over himself!!! I have no use for David Caruso and his sunglass wearing, grimacing style on CSI: Miami
